What is Bear2care

Bear2care IS A SMALL CHARITY that is making children with life threatening illnesses smile. Bear2care believes that the first step in getting healthier is to laugh and to be happy. So what we do is take these children teddy bears and other stuffed animals to bring a small amount of joy into these wonderful children's lives. AS WE HAVE NO SPONSORS, Bear2Care COSTS ARE PAID FOR DIRECTLY FROM DONATIONS, The donations are used 100% for maintaining Bear2Care2009, whether to buy bears and supplies, maintaining our web page or any other supplies Bear2Care needs.

Ok everyone i would like to thank the ones who have supported bear2care and have donated to help keep us going,, Now as my way of saying thanks is I am going to give away something..From Tuesday night at midnight, till Tuesday morning midnight (June30 till July 6th] we will keep a list of everyone who donates and at the end of the 7 day period we will draw a name at random to whom we will give this package too..Thank you for your support..

July's Hero Little Armstrong

On November 20th, 2008 little Armstrong suffered a seizure while at his daycare. He was lifeflighted into Omaha's Creighton University and remained unresponsive for over 20 hours. He was transfered to Children's Hospital in Omaha and diagnosed with a very large, invasive brain tumor that encompassed most of his left hemisphere. While Armstrong's Dad urgently tried to get home from overseas, his mom and the rest of his extended family struggled to come to grips with the life altering brain cancer news. Since that November day we have been through 3 brain surgeries and once was told that Armstrong would not live more than a couple days. Unfortunately on April 9th, 2009 at 11:27pm Armstrong passed away after suffering a sudden seizure. It was so hard for us to understand the loss of Armstrong, as he had just started his first dose of chemo. We continue to struggle with our place in this world now that Armstrong is gone.
